Temporal Noise

Description

This noise patch creates movement by offsetting the noise texture in opposite directions, then blending two textures together. You can use any noise texture as long as it is tileable. The benefit of using texture based noise is the low cost. Procedural noise looks great, but it is costly to generate at runtime. Inputs – Noise: The tileable noise texture to use. Scale: Noise texture scale. Angle: Angle of movement. Speed: Animation speed. Blend Mode: Index of the blend mode to use. Outputs – Noise: Cross blended noise texture. Blend Mode: The name of the selected blend mode.
